What exactly does the Jalveda camper do?
You pour in tap or RO water. As it passes through 6 layers, it is filtered, minerals are added
back, the pH is raised and it picks up a negative ORP. You pour out alkaline, mineral rich,
antioxidant water.
Does alkaline water cure or treat any disease?
No. Jalveda is not medicine and we will never say it is. It is better-tasting, mineral rich
daily drinking water that you can measure yourself.
Do I still need RO?
It depends on your input water. If your water has high TDS or contamination, keep your
RO and pour RO water into Jalveda. If your municipal water is already safe, you can pour it
straight into Jalveda. Talk to us and we will help you decide.
Can I put tap water directly into it?
Yes, if your tap water is safe to drink after basic filtering. If you are unsure, talk to us and
we will check.
How do I know it's working?
Test it. A pH drop test, a TDS meter and an ORP meter show the difference in two
minutes. See the "Test Your Water" section above, or let our team do it for you.
How often do I change the filter, and what does it cost?
Every 10,000 litres or 2 years, whichever comes first. A replacement costs ₹999 and we
deliver it home. We will remind you when it is due.
Does it need electricity?
No. Jalveda works by gravity, so it keeps working during power cuts.
Is it safe for kids and elders?
Yes. It is drinking water with added minerals and a mild alkaline pH, stored in a food-grade
tank. If anyone at home has a specific medical condition, check with your doctor, as you
would for any change in diet.
